Background: Relying on vague memories of ballet recitals and dancing polkas with her busia at weddings, Joyce's optimism may put her on the right track to winning the mirror ball this year. Practicing what she preaches to her students and her own children, Joyce hopes to encourage others to get involved in important activities and to take positive risks in life. Joyce is a definite fighter. She may be faced with tough competition, but she has the mental psyche to come out a winner.
