Who will win the coveted mirror ball?
When: Thursday, April 5th, 2012
Where: Oak Lawn Community High School, 9400 Southwest Highway, Oak Lawn, Il. 60453
What: Dancing With the Stars meets Oak Lawn Community High School
NO DETAIL WILL BE SPARED:
- Students selected 4 males and 4 females: 6 teachers and 2 senior students
- Each dancer paired with a professional for 2 months of lessons. They will dance with this professional on the night of competition.
- 3 judges with glittered number panels
- Video montage of each teacher’s journey
- Live feed camera in an off-stage “green room”. Dancers will discuss their performance before the judges give their scores
- And finally…one dancer will win the coveted mirror ball trophy!
Tickets
Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students, and free for children under 10.
Voting
Votes will be determined by 60% of the judges’ votes
and
40% of the audience vote and will be taken after both dances are performed.
The audience vote is determined by dollar value:
$1= 1 vote
$20= 20 votes
$5000= 5000 votes

100% of the voting dollars will go directly
to the Parent Project for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
